UMSL Summer Class--EDUC 5006 Pedagogical Explorations
The University of Missouri-St. Louis Department of Education and ADVENTURE 360 have partnered to offer the summer EDUC 5006 Pedagogical Explorations class. This is a 3 hour graduate class designed around the PALEO X program and curriculum development. Student(s) participating in this class will research curriculum strategies, participate in the PALEO X class, and design appropriate classroom curricula.
There are a limited number of student spaces and student selection will be based on an application letter. Interested students should submit an application letter containing:
Complete contact information, including email
Description of curriculum ideas and how the topics of earth science or paleontology could be implemented in your classroom teaching strategy
Transcript or resume
Recommendation letter from advisor, science coordinator, or superintendent
Selected student(s) must register in the Department of Education Graduate Program and pay for the class through UMSL. Fees for participation in PALEO X will be provided by UMSL. Deadline for applications is May 15, 2014. Class schedule is flexible and will be coordinated with selected student(s).
